In the 29th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) emerged victorious against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 7 wickets at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.

Put in to bat, Sunrisers could only score a total of 134 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their 20 overs, courtesy of outstanding bowling by CSK. Abhishek Sharma was the top scorer for the team, with 34 runs off 26 balls.

Star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was the chief destroyer as he bowled brilliantly and went on to take three wickets for just 22 runs in his 4 overs.

The Super Kings had a target of 135 runs to chase down, and they gunned it down with 7 wickets in hand. Opener Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 35 runs off 30 balls. However, it was Devon Conway who stole the show with an unbeaten 77 off 57 balls, including 12 fours and a six.

Mayank Markande of Sunrisers Hyderabad was the pick of the bowlers, taking two wickets for 23 runs in his 4 overs.
