Another day, another thriller! Such was the story of Match 23 in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday.

Asked to bat first, the Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat posted a challenging total of 177/7 in their 20 overs. David Miller top-scored for his side with 46 runs off 30 balls, while Shubman Gill (45) and Hardik (28) also made valuable contributions to the scorecard. For the Royals, Sandeep Sharma (2/25) and Trent Boult (1/46) were the standout bowlers.

In response, the Royals chased down the target in 19.2 overs with three wickets in hand. The key to their victory was a stunning knock from skipper Sanju Samson, who smashed 60 runs off 32 balls with three fours and six sixes.

However, Hetmyer played the match-winning inning with 56 runs off 26 balls, which included five sixes. For Gujarat, Mohammed Shami was the pick of the bowlers, picking up three wickets for 25 runs in his four overs.
