In a thrilling encounter between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Match 41 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, PBKS won the game by 4 wickets at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Sunday.

After winning the toss, CSK elected to bat and scored 200/4 in their 20 overs. Devon Conway played a clinical knock of 92* off 52 balls, while Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shivam Dube contributed with 37 and 28 runs respectively. For PBKS, Arshdeep Singh, Sam Curran, Rahul Chahar, and Sikandar Raza picked up a wicket each.

In response, PBKS chased down the target with 5 balls to spare, thanks to a strong batting display by Prabhsimran Singh, Liam Livingstone, and Curran. Tushar Deshpande was the pick of the bowlers for CSK, taking 3 wickets for 49 runs in his 4 overs. Ravindra Jadeja also contributed with 2 wickets.

The contest went down to the final ball where Sikandar held his nerves and drove Punjab to a thrilling win over Chennai.
