Salt scored 59 runs off 35 deliveries, while Marsh played a brilliant innings of 63 runs off 39 deliveries, including 1 four and 6 sixes. However, despite their efforts, the Capitals fell short of the target, managing to score 188/6 in their 20 overs and losing the contest by 9 runs.
