Rajasthan Royals (RR) opening batter Yashasvi Jaiswal exhibited top-class attacking batting during his side’s clash against MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 on Thursday.

Jaiswal lit up the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur with his scintillating batting, smashing his third half-century of the ongoing 16th season of the cash-rich league. Jaiswal slammed a 26-ball fifty and ended up scoring 77 runs from just 43 deliveries, with the help of 8 fours and 4 humongous sixes.

Amongst his four maximums, one which grabbed all the attention was a switch hit against Ravindra Jadeja. It all happened during the seventh over when Jaddu came round the wicket and bowled a good length delivery.

Jaiswal saw the opportunity as he reversed his stance and played a reverse-hit on the tossed up delivery to send the ball over deep backward point for an enormous six.

Notably, Jaiswal has been in outstanding form during the 2023 IPL, having scored 304 runs in eight matches. He commenced the season with a remarkable 37-ball 54 versus Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), and subsequently scored 60 runs against Delhi Capitals (DC), 44 runs against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), and 47 runs against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) before the current game.
