During the ceremony, Arijit touched the feet of MS Dhoni to show his respect for him.

Fans loved the heartwarming gesture by the magical singer and lauded him on social media.

Dhoni entered the arena in a grand style.

Actress Tamanna Bhatia also added glamour to the opening ceremony with her dazzling dance.

Rashmika Mandanna presented a dance as well.

Meanwhile, the IPL 2023 started with Gujarat Titans (GT) facing Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
