The 30th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 turned out to be a nail-biting thriller where Gujarat Titans (GT) pulled off a miraculous win against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Ekana Stadium on Saturday.

Batting first, the Titans started their innings on a good note with Wriddhiman Saha scoring 47 runs off 37 balls, including 6 fours. However, Shubman Gill failed to score any runs, and it was left to Hardik Pandya to lead the charge with a brilliant 66 runs off 50 balls, which included 4 sixes as the Titans managed to put up a total of 135/6 in their 20 overs.

The Super Giants’ bowling attack was led by Krunal Pandya, who picked up 2 wickets for just 16 runs. Marcus Stoinis also chipped in with 2 scalps, while Naveen-ul-Haq and Amit Mishra picked up 1 wicket each.

In response, Lucknow began their innings on a positive note, with KL Rahul scoring a brilliant 68 runs off 61 balls, which included 8 fours. However, he didn’t get enough support from the other end, and the Super Giants fell short by 7 runs, scoring 128/7 in their 20 overs.

For the Titans, Noor Ahmad and Mohit Sharma picked up 2 wickets each, while Rashid Khan and Mohammed Shami bagged 1 wicket each.
