India’s star spinner Yuzvendra Chahal never fails to amaze people with his tricks both on and off the field. Chahal is currently representing Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 and has yet again made it to the headlines for his hilarious act in the RR camp. The video of the same was released by the official Twitter handle of RR, which soon went viral on the internet.
In the clip, Chahal can be seen giving a speech and then going down on his one knee to ask Buttler out for a date. Meanwhile, the English cricketer who’s holding his daughter jokingly says yes in response.

The hilarious act by Chahal was committed during the birthday celebration of Buttler’s daughter Georgia, which took place in the presence of the latter’s family and the RR teammates. Notably, Buttler has been part of the Rajasthan-based team since 2018, whereas Chahal joined the side last year when the franchise roped in him for Rs 6.5 crore. The friendship between the two only increased after that.

On the work front, both Chahal and Buttler have done pretty well for Rajasthan in the IPL 2023. While the 32-year-old has spinner scalped 11 wickets in six games so far, the wicketkeeper-batter has scored 244 runs at a strike rate of 146.99 in the ongoing tournament. The duo will next be seen in action when RR meets Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Sunday (23 April) at the M. Chinaswamy stadium.
It is also noteworthy that Rajasthan currently holds the top position in the IPL 2023 points table with four wins in two matches. The only defeats they suffered came against Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).
