Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star batter Ambati Rayudu and his wife Chennupalli Vidya were blessed with a baby girl on Tuesday (May 16, 2023). The 37-year-old shared a picture of the newborn baby with his elder daughter and captioned the post as:“Daughters are a true blessing.”

CSK took to Twitter to congratulate Rayudu and share the good news with their fans. “Two folds the Super dad joy. Congratulations Rayudu and Family,” tweeted the Super Kings.

Soon after the news broke out on social media, greetings started pouring in from all around. Rayudu’s IPL teammate Shivam Dube also congratulated him, saying: “Congratulations bhai and family.”

For the uninitiated, Rayudu married his college sweetheart Chennupalli on Valentine’s Day in 2009. The couple became parents for the first time in July 2020.

On the professional front, Rayudu has been struggling for runs in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. He managed to score just 122 runs in 12 matches, with a strike rate of 127.08. In hopes of reclaiming his form, the right-handed batter will look for CSK’s final group-stage match against Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Saturday, May 20.
