Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will square off against Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 49th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Saturday (May 6). Notably, both CSK and MI faced each other once in IPL 2023, where Chennai emerged victorious by seven wickets.

As far as the previous matches of both teams are concerned, CSK’s last game against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) couldn’t be completed and was called off due to rain, whereas MI registered a comprehensive six-wicket victory over Punjab Kings (PBKS).
