Despite losing two early wickets and being faced with a daunting target of 215, Kishan and Suryakumar’s partnership of 116 runs off just 55 balls swung the match in Mumbai’s favor. Kishan scored 75 runs off 41 deliveries while Yadav notched up 66 runs off 31 balls, allowing MI to win with 7 balls remaining.

Earlier in the game, Punjab scored an imposing 214 for 3 in 20 overs, thanks to the 119-run partnership between Liam Livingstone and Jitesh Sharma for the fourth wicket. Livingstone remained unbeaten on 82 off 42 deliveries, while Sharma contributed 49 not out off 27 balls. Piyush Chawla was the standout bowler for MI, taking 2 wickets for 29 runs, with Arshad Khan chipping in with one wicket.
