On Tuesday, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) secured their place in the final of IPL 2023 with a 15-run victory over Gujarat Titans (GT). This win propelled CSK to their record-breaking 10th IPL final, as the team led by MS Dhoni aimed to equalize the title wins of Mumbai Indians (MI).

The match took place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, known for its slow pitch. CSK’s opening pair, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway, showcased their formidable batting and provided a solid start to their team. However, GT’s bowlers made a strong comeback and managed to restrict CSK to 172-7.

In response, GT faced a rough start, losing wickets at regular intervals. Only in-form Shubman Gill could display his boundary-hitting prowess. Nevertheless, when Ravindra Jadeja dismissed Gill, the hopes of GT fans were shattered. The remaining batters kept struggling, and finally, CSK took the game home by 15 runs.

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, who followed the match online, expressed his enthusiasm and shared his excitement with fans on social media. Also, stars such as Parvati Nair, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Bindu Madhavi, Ivana, Ramya Pandian and Khushbu celebrated CSK’s impressive win over GT.
