Rajasthan Royals (RR) will face Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 52nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Sunday (May 7). Notably, these two teams have met each other once in the IPL 2023, where RR registered a comprehensive 72-run victory over SRH.

As far as the previous matches of these two teams are concerned, while Rajasthan suffered a defeat in their last match against Gujarat Titans (GT), Hyderabad lost to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). No batter except Sanju Samson (30) managed to cross the 20-run mark for RR in the clash, and their bowlers also failed to impress. Meanwhile, despite Aiden Markram’s resilient 41 off 40 deliveries, SRH couldn’t chase the target set by KKR and eventually ended up losing. Among bowlers, Marco Jansen and T Natarajan picked two wickets each for their team in the first inning.

RR sit at the fourth position of the IPL 2023 points table and will look to break into the top three by winning against Hyderabad. On the other hand, SRH are placed at the last spot and would aim not to lose any game from here on.
