The 45th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is taking place at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK). MS Dhoni won the toss and elected to bowl first at a spin friendly venue and his bowlers came up with a top-class performance to justify Dhoni’s decision.

The spin attack of CSK wreaked havoc at a packed house in Lucknow and completely dominated the proceedings right from the word go. The likes of Moeen Ali, Maheesh Theekshana and Ravindra Jadeja, all shined with the ball and made LSG batters run for their money.

The home team lost half of their side inside the first 10 overs with Jadeja’s dismissal of Marcus Stoinis grabbing the maximum eyeballs. It all happened on the last ball of the seventh over when Jaddu came up with a ripping delivery and clean bowled Stoinis who was left shell-shocked.

Jadeja bowled a fuller delivery which carried a sharp turn as after pitching on the leg the white leather ended up hitting the off stump and Stoinis was beaten all over. The Aussie stood at his crease for a few seconds and appeared as if he was literally asking whether he was bowled.
