Faf du Plessis and Co. are currently in the capital city of Telangana as they are to face Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in the 63rd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 on Thursday (May 18). Amidst the preparations for their must-win clash, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) players took the time to attend the opening ceremony of the local boy Mohammed Siraj‘s new house in Hyderbad’s Film Nagar in Jubilee Hills.
The players to visit Siraj’s new home included the likes of Virat Kohli, Du Plessis, Wayne Parnell and Kedhar Jadhav. The video of the same was released by a fan in which the RCB pacer can be seen greeting his fellow teammates. The clip soon became a major talking point on the internet and was shared in huge numbers.

Notably, Virat and other Bangalore players had earlier also paid a visit to Siraj’s home for a dinner party in 2018. Siraj even has shared the heartwarming story behind it on many occasions and highlighted how the former India captain surprised him back then.
“I Asked Virat Kohli bhai for dinner at my home, he was very gracious & accepted the invitation. The moment we landed, Virat bhai said he had a stiff Back, so they won’t come. I did get a little upset, but he came and I Hug him when I saw him there, that was surreal too,” Siraj told various media outlets.
Speaking of Siraj’s current form in IPL 2023, the right-arm pacer has been in great touch and is leading the RCB bowling attack from the front. The 29-year-old cricketer’s ability to take wickets in the powerplay has greatly helped the Bangalore-based team in the ongoing tournament. Siraj has taken overall sixteen wickets for RCB at an impressive economy of 7.79 in twelve matches in IPL 2023 so far.
