MS Dhoni‘s love for bikes is well known, and he’s often spotted riding motorcycles on the roads. India’s former captain even has a collection of bikes and cars at his house in Jharkhand. Dhoni’s teammates and friends are also well aware of the wicketkeeper-batter’s craze for bikes and have accompanied him as pillion passengers at times.

A similar video from the young days of Dhoni has now resurfaced on the internet where he can be seen riding a bike on Mount Road Spencer Plaza signal in Chennai with his then-teammate S. Sreesanth sitting on the back.

The clip was shared by a fan on Twitter and seems to be at least ten years old, as both Dhoni and Sreesanth in the video can be seen donning practice jerseys with Sahara as the title sponsor. Notably, the Indian team’s sponsorship ties with Sahara India Parivar ended in 2013.

Here’s the video:

It is worth mentioning that Dhoni and Sreesanth were part of India’s 2007 T20I and 2011 ODI World Cup triumphs and have shared a great bond with each other. However, both are now retired from international cricket. While Dhoni called his time on India’s career in August 2020, Sreesanth took retirement from international and domestic cricket in 2013 and 2022.

Speaking of their current work status, Dhoni recently led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to their record fifth title triumph in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, whereas Sreesanth was seen commentating at the same event.

The Dhoni-led CSK defeated Gujarat Titans (GT) in the summit clash of IPL 2023 to lift the trophy. The 41-year-old cricketer, after the title-clinching victory, even gave an update about his future in the tournament and informed about returning to the IPL 2024 as a gift from his side to the fans.
