Australia and India are set to clash in a winner-takes-all showdown at The Oval from June 7. The final of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) will begin at 3:00 pm IST/ 9:30 am GMT/ 10:30 am local time. June 12 has been earmarked as the reserve day and can be used to make up for any loss of playing time during the five scheduled days.
The winner of the summit clash will be awarded with the ICC WTC mace as well as a whopping prize money.
The champion team will take home a purse of USD $1.6 million, whle the runner-ups will receive USD $800,000 in prize money.
The nine other teams who participated in the second cycle of WTC will share a total purse of USD $3.8 million.
