Australia are having a memorable outing in the ongoing WTC 2023 Final against India in London. After losing 3 wickets for 76, the Aussies came back in style courtesy of Steve Smith and Travis Head‘s partnership. The duo added 285 runs for the 4th wicket as both stars smashed tremendous tons. With the impressive ton in the WTC Final, Smith attained a special feat for Australia.

Here is the list of most 50+ scored in ICC Knockout games for Australia:

3 – Adam Gilchrist

Gilchrist smashed fifties in 1999 ODI WC Final, 2003 WC Final, a hundred in 2007 ODI WC Final

4 – Shane Watson

Fifty in 2006 Champions Trophy Final, hundred in 1st Semi-Final of 2009 Champions Trophy and one in final. Watson also smashed a fifty in 3rd Quarter final of 2015 ODI WC.

4 – Ricky Ponting

Ponting scored a hundred in 2003 WC Final, 2009 Champions Trophy 1st Semi-final, 2011 WC Quarter Final. He also scored a fifty in the 1st semi-final of 2006 Champions Trophy.

5 – Steve Smith

Smith smashed a fifty in 2015 WC Quarter-Final followed by a ton in the semi-final and another half-century in the final. Smith also scored a fifty in 2019 WC Semi-Final and a hundred in the ongoing 2023 WTC Final.
