The eagerly anticipated schedule for Pakistan’s Test tour of Sri Lanka has been unveiled, marking the beginning of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 campaign for both teams. The two-match series will take place from July 16 to 28 and will be held at the picturesque venues of Galle and Colombo.

Pakistan’s cricket team is set to arrive in Sri Lanka on July 9, allowing them ample time to acclimate to the local conditions before the commencement of the series. They will also engage in a warm-up match on July 11 and 12 to fine-tune their preparations.

The opening Test match will be held at the renowned Galle International Cricket Stadium from July 16 to 20. Known for its stunning oceanic backdrop, Galle promises to offer a challenging and picturesque setting for the teams to battle it out on the field.

In a show of faith towards promising young talent, Pakistan has also handed call-ups to uncapped players Mohammad Huraira and Aamir Jamal. These selections highlight Pakistan’s commitment to nurturing young cricketers and ensuring a sustainable pipeline of talent for the future.
