The Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 is just around the corner, and South Africa’s campaign will begin with an intriguing clash against Qualifier 2 in Delhi on October 7. The International Cricket Council (ICC) recently unveiled the full schedule for the tournament, generating excitement among cricket enthusiasts worldwide.

South Africa, known as the Proteas, will start their journey with a match against Qualifier 2.

Overall, they will compete at eight different venues across India. The South African team will showcase their skills and talent in games scheduled to be held in Delhi, Lucknow, Dharamsala, Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata and Ahmedabad. This diverse range of venues ensures that cricket fans from various regions will have the opportunity to witness South Africa’s performances firsthand.

Their last group stage match will take place on November 10 against Afghanistan in Ahmedabad.

India will host the One-Day World Cup for the fourth time in the tournament’s history, following their previous duties in 1987, 1996, and 2011. While India co-hosted the tournament in previous editions, the 13th season will be the first instance of India serving as the sole and independent host of the prestigious event.
