The second and final Test of the India tour of West Indies 2023 commenced on July 20, which also marked the 100th clash between the two sides in the longest format. The momentous occasion saw the captains of both teams receiving a special memento by legendary Brian Lara before the match. The picture of the same also went viral on the internet, where Rohit could be seen in a messy hair look.

Soon after Rohit’s image got viral, Australian women’s cricketer Amanda Wellington hilariously trolled the India skipper over his messy hair on social media. The comment by the Aussie leg-spinner sent a laughter bombshell among cricket enthusiasts.

Taking to her official Twitter handle, Wellington suggested Rohit get a haircut. She even tagged the Mumbai cricketer in her post.

“Tell you what, @ImRo45 needs a hair cut,” wrote Wellington.

Speaking of the second Test, India are currently in a strong position as they finished Day 1 on a score of 288/4 in 84 overs. The opening duo of Rohit and Yashasvi Jaiswal once again laid a brilliant foundation for the Indian side, adding 139 runs for the first wicket. Rohit hammered brilliant 80 runs off 143 deliveries, while Yashasvi contributed 57 runs to the team total.

Although West Indies bounced back and were successful in restricting the India top-order batters from converting the start into a big score by striking a few quick dismissals, Virat Kohli (87) and Ravindra Jadeja (36) batted cautiously, finishing the day unbeaten.
