In a Group B clash during the league stage, India A registered an emphatic eight-wicket win over Pakistan A, enabling the Yash Dhull-led side claim the top position on the points table. Meanwhile, Mohammad Haris’ Pakistan qualified as the second-best team from the group, booking their spot for the semifinals as well.
In their semifinal encounter, India A faced Bangladesh A. Despite a challenging start, the Men in Blue made a remarkable comeback in a match marred by controversies. Eventually, India secured a 51-run victory, securing their place in the final. On the other hand, Pakistan achieved a convincing 60-run win against hosts Sri Lanka in their semifinal fixture.
For the summit clash between India and Pakistan, the ACC has announced free entry for spectators in Colombo.

The pitch at Colombo’s R. Premadasa Stadium has been in the favour of spin bowlers. Pakistan recently played on a different surface at P Sara Oval, and they might need to make some minor adjustments once again to adapt to the conditions.
