Jaiswal showcased exceptional skills and composure as he reached a magnificent century, becoming the 17th Indian player to achieve this feat on Test debut.

Resuming his innings on an overnight score of 40 not out, Jaiswal displayed a balanced approach, combining caution with positivity during his time at the crease. The 21-year-old southpaw shifted gears after the lunch break on day two, accelerating his scoring rate and quickly racing to his hundred.

Jaiswal’s century on Test debut, which came in the 70th over of India’s first innings, added him to the esteemed list of Indian players who have achieved this remarkable milestone.
