The third season of the Global T20 (GT20) Canada is all set to bowl out from July 20 to August 6, 2023. The action-packed tournament will feature a total of 21 T20 matches, all to be hosted at the CAA Centre in Brampton, Ontario.

Looking back at the previous editions, the Vancouver Knights and Winnipeg Hawks etched their names as champions in 2018 and 2019, respectively, showcasing their prowess in the exciting T20 competition.

This year’s edition brings in fresh excitement as the Mississauga Panthers and Surrey Jaguars will make their tournament debuts alongside the Brampton Wolves, Montreal Tigers, Toronto Nationals, and the defending champions, Vancouver Knights.

The GT20 Canada 2023 will adopt a round-robin format in the league stage, with each team battling it out in 21 league matches. Following the league phase, the top four teams will advance to the playoffs, setting the stage for thrilling knockout clashes.

In the playoffs, the top two teams will face off in Qualifier 1, vying for a direct spot in the grand final. Meanwhile, the third and fourth-placed teams will battle it out in the eliminator, with the winner securing a spot in the Qualifier 2 against the losing team from Qualifier 1.

All eyes will then be on the final match, scheduled for August 6, as the top contenders vie for supremacy and the coveted title of GT20 Canada champions.
