Cricket fans across the world are in for a treat as The Hundred returns with its unique 100-ball format, promising an action-packed spectacle from August 1. The highly anticipated tournament will feature eight men’s and eight women’s teams competing for glory in what is sure to be an enthralling display of skill, talent and passion for the game.

The Hundred comprises eight teams for both men and women, namely Birmingham Phoenix, London Spirit, Manchester Originals, Northern Superchargers, Oval Invincibles, Southern Brave, Trent Rockets and Welsh Fire. These teams will face off in double-headers at eight different venues scattered around England, treating fans from all corners to the excitement of top-tier cricket.

In this unique format, each team will play eight group games – a match against every other side – and have the opportunity for a bonus meeting with their designated ‘local rival’. This arrangement ensures an even and thrilling competition throughout the league stage. Four of these games will be hosted at their home ground, while the other four will be away encounters, providing an equal opportunity for all teams to showcase their prowess on familiar and unfamiliar turfs.
