In a move that has caught the attention of cricket enthusiasts worldwide, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled a revised schedule for the much-anticipated ODI World Cup scheduled to be held in India. With changes affecting a total of nine fixtures, the rescheduling aims to enhance the flow and excitement of the tournament, while also accommodating logistical considerations.

Among the prominent adjustments is the alteration of the date for the highly anticipated clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan. Originally set to unfold on Sunday, October 15, at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the clash has been advanced by a day and will now take place on Saturday, October 14, at the same venue. This rescheduling is expected to add an extra layer of intensity to the match, as fans eagerly await this iconic encounter.

It’s worth noting that the ODI World Cup will kick off with an enticing clash between 2019 finalists England and New Zealand on Thursday, October 5, at the Ahmedabad venue. The tournament will reach its crescendo with the final match also hosted at the same venue on Sunday, November 19, promising a fitting finale to a month-long spectacle of cricketing excellence.
