However, the rest of the batting lineup faltered under pressure, and no other batter could make a significant impact. Romario Shepherd and Jason Holder starred with the ball for the West Indies, taking two wickets each and stifling India’s batting efforts.

In a closely fought encounter, West Indies emerged victorious by a narrow margin of four runs. With this win, West Indies took a 1-0 lead in the T20I series, setting the stage for an enthralling battle between the two cricketing powerhouses in the remaining matches.
