Apart from Buttler, Philip Salt (21 runs off 9 balls) and Max Holden (24 runs off 16 balls) also made valuable contributions to the total.
On the other hand, Ravi Bopara proved to be the most effective bowler for London Spirit, taking two wickets while conceding only 12 runs in his 1.4 overs. Worrall, Liam Dawson and Matt Critchley also chipped in with crucial wickets.
However, the weather gods intervened just as the first innings was to reach its conclusion and the match was abandoned due to persistent rain. Both teams had to share the points in this frustrating rain-curtailed contest.
