Azam Khan has emerged as one of Pakistan‘s most explosive and fearless batters. His ability to clear the boundaries with ease and his fearless approach at the crease make him a valuable asset in limited-overs cricket. What sets Azam apart is not just his power-hitting prowess but also his significant experience gained from playing in T20 leagues around the world, where he has consistently showcased his talent.

Thriving in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL)

One of the significant platforms where Azam has honed his skills is the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), a prestigious T20 league. Representing various franchises in the CPL, the 25-year-old has consistently delivered stellar performances with the bat, winning over fans in the West Indies and beyond. His adaptability to different formats of the game is evident, and he has become a reliable wicketkeeper-batter in the shorter formats.

A valuable addition to Guyana Amazon Warriors

In 2023, Azam joined the Guyana Amazon Warriors for an impressive $120,000, making him the top-earning Pakistani player participating in CPL. His earlier stints with the Barbados Royals in the 2021 and 2022 editions of the CPL left an indelible mark as he consistently showcased his power-hitting abilities. During those seasons, Azam accumulated a total of 178 runs and 257 runs, respectively, leaving a lasting impact with his explosive performances at the crease.
