Sridharan Sriram becomes the latest addition to LSG’s coaching staff
The former Australian cricket spin coach consultant, Sridharan Sriram, has officially joined the LSG as the assistant coach for the upcoming IPL season. This latest addition completes a star-studded team staff of the franchise that promises to elevate the team’s performance to new heights.
Sriram is no stranger to the world of cricket coaching, boasting an impressive track record of success. He previously served as a key figure in the coaching staff of both the Bangladesh and Australian national teams.
During his tenure with the Bangladesh men’s national T20 team, Sriram showcased his coaching prowess by leading the team to two remarkable victories in the Super-12s stage of the T20 World Cup, solidifying his reputation as a strategic mastermind.

Siram’s contributions to the Australian men’s team were equally significant, playing a pivotal role in their success at the T20 World Cup and the Ashes series during the 2021-22 season. Sriram’s experience and expertise are expected to be invaluable assets to the LSG.
Sridharan Sriram’s previous stint in IPL
Sriram also has experience in assisting in the IPL. He previously worked as an assistant coach specializing in batting and spin bowling for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), further enhancing his credentials as a coach in the T20 format.
