South Africa Women will square off with New Zealand in a three-match ODI series starting from Sunday, September 24. All three games will be part of the 2022-25 ICC Women’s Championship.
The Proteas Women are entering this rubber after a remarkable showing against Pakistan Women. They embarked on a tour of Pakistan for a three-match ODI series and secured a convincing 2-1 victory over the home team.
On the other hand, the White Ferns have encountered a somewhat inconsistent streak. In their last five ODIs, they have managed to register a win on just one occasion. Sophie Devine & Co. toured Sri Lanka in June of this year, and there they emerged victorious in one game. However, the visitors lost the 3-match leg by 2-1.
Following the ODI series, South Africa and New Zealand will compete in a five-game T20I rubber.
