The catch became the defining moment in a match where the Warriors successfully defended a low score of 132, ultimately winning by 21 runs.

The Warriors found themselves in a tussle as they posted a modest total of 132 runs on the board, with Sophie Devine emerging as the star batter, contributing 48 runs off 39 deliveries, featuring four boundaries and a six. Marie Kelly was the standout bowler for the Knight Riders, making a significant impact with four wickets for 30 runs.

Former West Indies cricketer Ian Bishop, who was on air during this jaw-dropping moment, couldn’t contain his excitement. He exclaimed, “In the air, in the air, Oh my goodness! What a catch! How stupendous is that! A classic catch, my goodness.”

Speaking about the game, the Knight Riders struggled to chase down the target, ending their innings at 111/9 after 20 overs. Captain Deandra Dottin fought valiantly, scoring 35 runs off just 19 balls, but her efforts weren’t enough as the rest of the batting lineup faltered. Ismail and Devine were the standout bowlers for the Warriors, each claiming a pair of wickets.
