Mayers, feeling the pressure, pitched the next delivery in Pooran’s hitting zone, and the left-handed batter wasted no time in clearing his front leg and sending the ball soaring over long on for yet another maximum.

With just two runs needed to complete his century, Pooran faced a dot ball before the final delivery of the over. The Barbados bowler delivered a low full-toss, and Pooran dispatched it towards deep backward square leg for a boundary, crossing the three-figure mark.

Upon reaching his century, Pooran let out a triumphant roar, removed his helmet, flung his bat away, and jubilantly punched the air in celebration. Ultimately, the Barbados Royals succumbed to a 42-run defeat, allowing the Trinbago Knight Riders to bask in the glory of Pooran’s sensational century.
