Gayle’s foray into the Indian entertainment industry isn’t entirely new. He has previously featured in Indian ad commercials and collaborated with a few eminent Bollywood actors. His growing popularity in India has made him a recognizable face beyond the cricket field.

“Bollywood has been calling my name in recent times, and I’m pretty familiar with the movie industry in India. Recently, I did a commercial over there in India with a Bollywood actor, and it’s something special to look for from the Universe Boss in the near future,” said Gayle.

Chris Gayle’s Grammy-nominated album

Apart from his cricketing and potential acting endeavours, Gayle also expressed immense pride in his music career as he shared that his album, “Tropical House – Cruises to Jamaica,” had entered the 2024 Grammy race for the Best Reggae Album category.

“Firstly, I feel really good to be the face and headliner of the album, and I’m proud of the fact that it has entered into the 2024 Grammy race for Best Reggae Album. The album has several big names, such as Grammy Winners Ms.Lauryn Hill, Morgan Heritage and reggae giants, Capleton and Sizzla,” he added.

The Bollywood actress in Chris Gayle’s collaborations wishlist

Gayle has never been shy about his admiration for Bollywood and its stars. In May this year, he revealed that if he were to work on a Bollywood music album, he’d love to collaborate with the talented actress Deepika Padukone. His desire to share the screen and dance to Bollywood tunes sparked huge curiosity among fans back then.

Gayle left an indelible mark in the cricketing world. He was a pivotal part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for over a decade.
