Saiyami Kher, who played a lead role in the recently-released Hindi film ‘Ghoomer,’ wrote: “One of the best ODIs in recent times. A great contest between ball & bat. All our bowlers got wickets. The King once again, showed us why he’s the King. @klrahul once again taught me self belief & mental toughness. Such a mature knock! Yet we didn’t see a full Chepauk! #INDvAUS.”

Nakuul Mehta, a television star known for “Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2,” also joined the celebration and acknowledged the exceptional performance of Kohli and Rahul.

“Kohli resting every GOAT debate to rest. Master in chases. No one comes close,” tweeted Mehta.

“KL’s comeback against most naysayers including self has been brilliant. Hoping he has an exception WC for India from here on. Need him to be solid in the middle order. This was the missing link in 2019,” he added.

Riteish Deshmukh – actor, producer, screenwriter and filmmaker who mostly works in Hindi and Marathi cinema – too expressed his jubilation on Twitter.

“Architects of today’s victory – absolute master class by @imVkohli & @klrahul – thundering start for India. #WorldCup2023 #IndVsAus,” Deshmukh captioned his post.

Saiee Manjrekar, who works in Hindi and Telugu-language films, celebrated India’s victory on her Instagram story.

“What a dayyyyy,” Saiee captioned the photo Kohli and Rahul.
