South Africa‘s opener, Quinton de Kock, delivered yet another outstanding performance in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023, smashing his third century of the tournament. This remarkable feat took place during the 23rd match against the Bangladesh at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.

Team changes and early struggles of South Africa

In the ongoing game, a few notable team changes occurred. South Africa’s regular skipper, Temba Bavuma, remained on the sidelines as Aiden Markram assumed the role of stand-in captain. Bangladesh, on the other hand, welcomed back their regular skipper, Shakib Al Hasan, who returned into the side after missing the previous fixture against India. Notably, he formed a crucial partnership of 131 runs with Markram for the third wicket and is currently forging a significant alliance with the in-form Heinrich Klaasen.

South Africa will be looking set a target of over 350 in this match as they look to assert their dominance in the CWC 2023.
