Netherlands‘ former coach Ryan Campbell has reflected on historic victory over South Africa in the match 15 of the ODI World Cup 2023. Netherlands achieved an extraordinary 38-run victory against South Africa at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala on October 17, an outcome that left the cricketing world astonished. The game was originally scheduled for 50 overs per side but was shortened to 43 overs each due to inclement weather conditions.

Scott Edwards leads the way

In their innings, the Dutch team posted a competitive total of 245/8 on the scoreboard, thanks in large part to captain Scott Edwards‘ remarkable unbeaten knock of 78 runs from 69 balls. His innings included ten fours and a solitary six, underlining his crucial role in laying the foundation for the Netherlands’ strong performance. In reply, the Proteas lost wickets in regular intervals and bundled out for 207.
