In a heartwarming Instagram story, Bhawna Kohli Dhingra, the sister of Indian cricket stalwart Virat Kohli, showered praise on Rohit Sharma for his spectacular century in the ODI World Cup 2023 match against Afghanistan.

Rohit, who serves as the captain and opener for Team India, delivered a stunning batting performance at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium on Wednesday. His blazing knock of 131 runs off 84 balls completely overshadowed Afghanistan’s total of 273/9. The Men in Blue chased down the target with an impressive 15 overs to spare. Rohit’s incredible display of power-hitting included 16 fours and 5 sixes, while Delhi’s own Kohli contributed an unbeaten 55 runs to seal the chase.

Furthermore, this century became the fastest (63 balls) by an Indian batter in the history of the tournament.
