In a scheduled encounter at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala, South Africa are facing the Netherlands in Match 15 of the ICC World Cup 2023.

Having won the toss, South Africa elected to field first. It was during the 12th over of the Dutch innings that an interesting incident unfolded. Pacer Gerald Coetzee delivered a wide ball well outside the off-stump, which eluded the wicketkeeper and found its way into the hands of Heinrich Klaasen, who was standing at first slip.

The wide, exaggerated swing of the outswinger left both players and spectators in splits, emphasizing the unforeseeable and exciting nature of the game.
