In a moment of immense joy and celebration, Bangladesh batter Litton Das and his wife Debosri Biswas Sonchita are elated to announce the birth of their first child.

The proud parents welcomed their precious bundle of joy into the world at a hospital in Dhaka on Thursday (November 16), and both Litton and Debosri are overjoyed with the arrival of their daughter. The couple shared the news on their social media platforms, expressing gratitude and happiness for the newest addition to their family.

Litton, a key player in the Bangladesh national cricket team, took to Instagram to share the news with his fans and followers. He wrote, “Blessed with the arrival of our little princess at 9:27 AM. Mom and baby are in perfect health. Please keep us in your thoughts.”

The fans and followers of the beloved couple were quick to shower them with congratulatory messages. Teammates, fellow cricketers, and fans alike have taken to social media to extend their best wishes to the couple on this special occasion.

“Congratulations brother,” wrote South Africa spinner Keshav Maharaj, with a folded hands emoji.

“So beautiful congrats,” commented Romi Mitra, the wife of Indian cricketer Wriddhiman Saha.

The birth of a baby girl marks a new chapter in Litton and Debosri’s life, adding a layer of joy and warmth to their already close-knit family.

Litton Das, who married Debosri Sonchita – an MBA student of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) – on 28th July 2019, had an ordinary ODI World Cup 2023.

In seven league stage matches, Litton clubbed 225 runs at an average of 32.14 and strike-rate of 78.39. Though he smashed two half-centuries in the ten-nation tournament, but could not take his team into the semifinals.
