He surpassed the legendary Zaheer Khan to become India’s highest wicket-taker in World Cup history. Shami’s tally now stands at an impressive 45 wickets for the Men in Blue, achieved in just 14 innings. In comparison, former India pacer Zaheer had taken 44 wickets but in 23 innings.
