The football star, known for his mesmerizing skills on field, shared his unforgettable experience witnessing the memorable first semifinal encounter of the ODI World Cup 2023 between the Men in Blue and the Black Caps.

‘Electric, passionate and incredible’

In a video shared by BCCI, Beckham expressed his thoughts about the atmosphere at the Wankhede stadium, terming it as electric, passionate and incredible. The 48-year-old further shared that stepping into the Wankhede gave him an electrifying experience, evoking goosebumps as he felt the pulsating energy from the passionate crowd, emphasizing the unique atmosphere of the cricketing arena and underscoring the universal power of sports to create unforgettable moments.

“It’s nice to enter a stadium and get goosebumps and i felt that as soon as I walked into the Wankhede Stadium.” Beckham said.

Beckham’s experience on meeting Sachin Tendulkar and Indian Cricket Team

Beckham highlighted the significance of meeting cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar for the first time at Wimbledon, acknowledging that Tendulkar is not only the best in his sport but also an exceptional person. The former English footballer found the experience of spending time at the cricketing legend’s house and meeting other players to be truly special.

“I met Sachin for the first time at Wimbledon,one time and it was very special to meet him then. But firstly, he is the best , but as a person he is also even better. So for me to spend time in his house was very special and to meet all the players as well,” the London-born added.
