“Before the game, it looked like a tight match between two strong teams was likely. However, now, only one team is leading the tournament. India is the favorite because they have excellent batsmen, bowlers, top-notch fielding, and they’re playing well as a unit,” Yousuf expressed during a discussion on his YouTube channel.

Yousuf also commended India’s head coach Rahul Dravid, highlighting his role in uniting and strategizing the team. He praised the chemistry between Dravid and Rohit Sharma, which, in his view, has strengthened the entire squad. Yousuf firmly believed that India would remain unbeaten throughout the tournament, suggesting that it would take a stroke of bad luck for them to face defeat.
“India is shining with brilliant performances, and their hard work is evident. Rahul Dravid’s contribution is noteworthy, bringing the team together and aiding in strategic planning. The beautiful chemistry between Dravid and Rohit Sharma unites the entire team. I firmly believe India won’t lose any match in the tournament. They have all their bases covered and are a team without any weaknesses,” Yousuf added.
It’s noteworthy that India are the only team in the ODI World Cup 2023 yet to suffer a defeat, securing victories in all eight of their matches played thus far. South Africa and Australia have also clinched their places in the semi-finals.
