Sanju Samson on Rohit Sharma

Speaking in the podcast of a YouTube channel, Samson revealed that Rohit was among the first to approach him and engage in conversation by acknowledging his strong IPL performance. Still, the Nagpur-born cricketer humorously pointed out that he hit too many sixes against Mumbai Indians. Despite the playful comment, Rohit expressed genuine support and appreciation for Samson’s batting skills, establishing a positive and encouraging rapport between the two players.

Rohit Sharma was the first or second person who came to me and talked. He (Rohit) told me, ‘Hey Sanju, wassup. You performed well in the IPL but hit too many sixes against the Mumbai Indians. You bat really well,’ Samson was quoted as saying.
