A Jonty Rhodes-esque run-out
The standout moment occurred in the 36th over when Josh Hazlewood delivered a 135kph length ball. Hridoy, in an attempt to rotate the strike, pushed the ball towards cover and embarked on a quick single. Mahmudullah responded, but the risky single was always going to be challenging.
Labuschagne, displaying shades of Rhodes, sprinted towards the ball, effortlessly picked it up with one hand, and unleashed a precision throw directly at the batting end. Mahmudullah, despite a desperate dive, fell significantly short of his crease, resulting in an extraordinary run-out by Labuschagne.
