Sydney Thunder’s struggle

In response, the Sydney Thunder faced an uphill battle to chase down the target. The Thunder batters found it challenging to tackle the disciplined bowling attack of Brisbane Heat. Cameron Bancroft (25) and Chris Green (30) made noteworthy contributions, but the Heat bowlers, led by Xavier Bartlett‘s outstanding figures of three wickets for 35 runs in 4 overs, kept the pressure on throughout the innings.

Additionally, Matthew Kuhnemann and Mitchell Swepson also played their part by grabbing crucial wickets, eventually bowling out the Thunder for 131 runs in 19 overs.
