Opting to bowl first after winning the toss in Gqeberha, South Africa delivered a clinical performance to chase down the revised target of 152 in a rain-affected encounter.

India set a challenging target with a total of 180/7 in 19.3 overs. Rinku Singh played a standout knock of 68 not out in just 39 deliveries and was well supported by Suryakumar Yadav, who smashed 56 off 36 deliveries. Gerald Coetzee was the pick of the bowlers for South Africa, claiming three wickets for 32 runs.

In pursuit of the revised target, South Africa showcased resilience, reaching 154/5 in 13.5 overs. Reeza Hendricks led the charge with a blistering 49 off 27 balls, steering the innings with a combination of finesse and power.
