India cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife Dhanashree Verma are celebrating their fourth marriage anniversary today (December 22), albeit with a physical distance between them. Currently in South Africa as a part of the ODI squad that triumphed in the series against the Proteas, Chahal took social media to express his love and sentiments for his wife.

The 33-year-old shared a heartfelt post that is now gaining widespread attention. Chahal’s dedication to acknowledging and celebrating this special day despite his professional commitment underscores the couple’s enduring bond and love for each other, resonating with fans and followers alike.

Chahal’s emotional note for Dhanashree

In an emotional message, Chahal expressed deep love for his wife on the special occasion. He reflected on their journey from the first day they met, considering every moment close to his heart. The latter acknowledged the belief that matches are made in heaven and expressed gratitude for having his wife by his side. Chahal credited Dhanashree for making him a better person each day and extended his well-wishes to her.

“Dear wifey, From the first day we met to this moment, every second of this journey has been close to my heart. They say matches are made in heaven and I am sure whoever has written our script is on my side You make me a better human being every single day. You complete me!! Happy marriage anniversary to you, the love of my life,” Chahal wrote on X.

Chahal added to India’s ODI squad

After missing out on the ODI World Cup 2023, Chahal gained spot in India’s ODI squad for the South Africa tour. However, the Haryana-based cricketer could not find a place in the playing XI.

Notably, Chahal has been retained by his IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals for IPL 2024.
