Joining him at the top is Sri Lanka’s Dimuth Karunaratne, who displayed exceptional prowess with the bat in his six appearances, amassing 608 runs at an average of 60.80, featuring two centuries and three half-centuries.

The middle-order boasts the likes of former New Zealand captain Kane Williamson, England’s Joe Root, and the promising Harry Brook. Williamson notched up 696 runs in seven matches with four centuries, while Root and Brook showcased their batting prowess with 787 and 701 runs, respectively.

In the wicketkeeper-batsman role is Tom Blundell from New Zealand, who not only contributed with the bat, scoring 433 runs, but also showcased his skills behind the stumps with 22 catches and seven stumpings.

The all-round talents of Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin add depth to the squad. Jadeja’s dual proficiency with both bat and ball saw him score 281 runs and claim an impressive 33 wickets, making him a valuable asset. Ashwin, on the other hand, dominated with the ball, taking 41 wickets in seven matches at an astonishing average of 17.10.
