As cricket enthusiasts eagerly await the commencement of the Test series between India and England, the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) has disclosed the ticket details for the much-anticipated series opener. The five-match series will commence on January 25 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
Online ticket sales open on January 18
HCA President Jagan Mohan Rao Arishnapally has confirmed that cricket fans can purchase tickets online through the Paytm Insider App and website starting from January 18. Additionally, offline tickets will be made available at the Gymkhana, with sales commencing on January 22.
Ticket pricing information
According to a statement on X, Mr Arishnapally outlined the ticket pricing details for the first Test between India and England. The ticket prices are set in various categories, catering to a diverse audience.
- INR 200, INR 499, INR 1,000, and INR 1,500 per day
- Corporate Box (North) with hospitality: INR 3,000
- Corporate Box (South) with hospitality: INR 4,000
- Season tickets for all five days: INR 600, INR 1,497, INR 3,000, and INR 3,750
- Box prices: INR 12,000 and INR 16,000
Fans who purchase tickets online must redeem them at the Gymkhana Grounds by providing proof of identity starting from January 22.

Special offers for Armed Forces and school children
In a commendable gesture, the HCA has also announced that members of the Indian Armed Forces in Telangana and their families can attend the Test match on Republic Day free of cost. To avail this offer, they need to present a verified letter from their department head to the HCA CEO by January 18.
Additionally, the HCA has arranged for 5,000 schoolchildren to attend each day of the Test match without charge, contributing to the promotion of cricket among the younger generation.
